We are proud to represent the Seekho Aur Kamao scheme, a visionary initiative of the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA), aimed at empowering individuals in the State of Assam through skill development.
The Seekho Aur Kamao scheme is a transformational endeavor that focuses on providing skill development training to individuals from minority communities in Assam. The First Party, represented by Sh. P. K. Thakur, Secretary & CEO, MAEF, has collaborated with the Ministry of Minority Affairs to implement this scheme for 407 trainees. We are committed to extending financial assistance and support for the successful execution of the scheme.
As part of the Seekho Aur Kamao scheme, we offer training in various job roles, each carefully selected to meet the demands of the job market and empower the participants with valuable skills. The job roles available are:
MAEF ensures that all training provided under the Seekho Aur Kamao scheme adheres to the Common Norms Notification issued by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. We cover all direct and indirect costs related to the training, including mobilization, orientation, skill training, specific training for Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, IT, Soft Skills, placement, post-placement tracking, and other specified taxes.
Our commitment to empowering trainees goes beyond just providing skill training. We understand the importance of financial assistance during the training period. Therefore, all beneficiaries will receive a stipend of Rs. 13.33 per hour for two months, totaling 300 hours. Additionally, post-placement support (PPS) will be given to all placed candidates at the rate of Rs. 2,000 per month.
